How Memory Works, from the Human Brain to AI Agents

AI agent memory might sound complicated until you realize there's already a perfect example of it, and it's a human brain.
That's the whole idea behind this talk - agent memory becomes easy to understand the moment you compare it to your own. We'll take the different types and techniques of AI agent memory and match each one to the part of the brain it mirrors, so instead of learning abstract concepts, we'll just recognize how our own mind already works. Then we'll see how it works in a real agentic system we built in production, with these techniques in action: how it decides what to remember, how it recalls the right thing at the right moment, and how it forgets the rest.
