Haldun Anil

Hal is a Member of Technical Staff at Vapi, where he works on making it dead-simple for customers to build voice agents. Prior to Vapi, Hal was the Founding CTO of a NYC-based startup focused on providing AI-driven social content intelligence. Before that, he was a Staff Engineer at Braze, where he spent most of his 6 years on the Frontend Infrastructure & Experience team building foundational experiences for Braze's main dashboard. These include helping to build out the Beacon design library, migrating from Knockout.js + CoffeeScript to React + TypeScript, improving the performance of data tables by up to 20x, and more. Hal graduated in 2015 from MIT, where he did a double major in Economics and in Management Science.
