A Test That Passes for the Wrong Reason: Reliability for AI-Assisted Conformance Testing
In test code the worst failure is silent: a test that passes for the wrong reason certifies a broken GPU driver, and nothing alarms. I maintain the Khronos Vulkan Conformance Test Suite and use AI coding agents in that work daily. This talk is how I keep it reliable: I grade every agent result against a human-reviewed solution, so I can measure it instead of trusting it, and I show the anti-patterns that quietly ship a broken test.
