AI can review a Git diff in seconds, but reviewing a few changed lines is very different from understanding the impact of a change across a real codebase. In this talk, I’ll share a hands-on case study of building an agentic code reviewer for a real application using Cursor CLI. I’ll show how we moved from simple diff-based reviews to a system that builds context from the codebase, understands relationships between files, learns project conventions, and continuously reviews changes as developers work.
