She currently lives in San Antonio, TX, with her husband and teenage son, and has another son in college. She also has two cats, and fosters dogs and cats frequently. She plays video games with both her boys. She reads voraciously, enjoys paper crafts and knitting, and plays several musical instruments.

Samiul Huque is a senior software engineer at Bloomberg, where he works on the company’s Instant Bloomberg (IB for short) chat tool. He works across the stack, building full-stack products where he primarily uses a combination of JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. Outside of work, Samiul plays tennis, competes in MMA, and eats his steak medium rare. Samiul earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Richmond.

Jennifer is a front end developer on the Docs and API Libraries team at Shopify where our goal is to make it easier for developers to build on Shopify’s platform by creating and curating technical resources. Jennifer has spent the last two years working on shopify.dev, Shopify’s home for developer documentation.

Stephanie is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Beamery, and a seasoned full-stack engineer with considerable experience in the financial and public sectors. She's a passionate advocate for tech-for-good, diversity, and developer education. As a speaker, she's known for her entertaining talks and irreverent sense of humour. After 25 years of building web applications for companies such as Google, Apple, Nike, R/GA, and The London Stock Exchange, Phil has worked to challenge traditional technical architectures in favour of simplicity and effectiveness.
