Jonathan Bakebwa is the creator and maintainer of Chakra UI Vue, a component library focused on making accessible Vue.js websites and applications fast. Jonathan is also an Engineering Manager at rct.ai as well as the co-founder of the Vue Beijing Meetup in China. He has also authored Vue.js utility libraries in the Vue ecosystem and is currently building the next version of Chakra UI Vue. When he is not coding, Jonathan enjoys playing the guitar, reading and learning about startups.

In addition, David is pursuing a PhD in engineering science & sustainable computing at the University of Oxford. In the past, he co-founded Server Density, a cloud infrastructure monitoring startup which was acquired in 2018 by edge computing platform, StackPath.

Dan Vanderkam is the author of Effective TypeScript (O'Reilly 2019) and a Principal Software Engineer at Sidewalk Labs. He previously worked on open source genome visualizations at Mt. Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine and on search features used by billions of users at Google (try "population of france" or "sunset nyc"). He has a long history of working on open source projects, including the popular dygraphs library and source-map-explorer, a tool for visualizing JavaScript code size. He is also a co-founder of the NYC TypeScript meetup and blogs at effectivetypescript.com. When he's not programming, Dan enjoys playing bridge and climbing rocks near his home in New York's Hudson Valley.

Michael is a full-stack web developer, passionate about testing from Kyiv, Ukraine. I also work as a consultant & trainer focused on testing. Slobodan Stojanović is the CTO and co-founder of Vacation Tracker, an application that simplifies employee leave and absence management for organizations. He is based in Belgrade and is the JS Belgrade meetup co-organizer. Slobodan is an AWS Serverless Hero, Claudia.js core team member, and co-author of the “Serverless Applications with Node.js” book, published by Manning Publications.

Akash is a frontend engineer at ElevenLabs who loves building innovative products on the web with great user experiences. He is currently building his video creation product – Slant it and also maintains various open-source projects like Blaze, Vyaakaran, etc. His recent fascination has been creating highly dynamic user interfaces and WebGL. Akash is always open to talk about engineering, UI design and building great products.

I am a long-time open-source developer, educator, manager and mentor. I encourage everyone around me to share their collective knowledge, and am a strong champion of diversity in the tech industry. When I'm not working, I'm live-streaming about career advancement and interview preparation, tinkering with 3D printing or IoT projects, or telling dad jokes on Twitter.

Bryan Hughes is a staff frontend engineer at Patreon, long-time member of the Node.js and NodeBots communities, and tech activist. Bryan is the creator of Raspi IO which provides Raspberry Pi support for the Johnny-Five JavaScript robotics library. Bryan also created RVL, a distributed wireless LED lighting system designed for festivals, Reduxology, a library that makes React+Redux easier to use, and Aquarium Control, a Raspberry Pi based system for controlling lights and monitoring temperature of his aquarium. Outside of tech, Bryan is an active member of the LGTBQ community, a photographer, pianist, and a wine aficionado.

Lazar Nikolov is a Senior Developer Experience Engineer at Sentry, where he spends most of his time trying to figure out the best way to help people ship software that doesn’t end up totally slow or broken. He’s passionate about web performance, developer tooling, and helping people understand software architecture. He enjoys simplifying complex tech topics on his YouTube channel - and occasionally riffs Tool songs on guitar.

Among the different things that Facundo enjoys, some of them are meeting and connecting with other people, web development, and talking a lot. After more than 12 years working as a developer, creating products and projects for different organizations and clients, he thought it would be great to combine those three interests in some way. In his search of ways to handle that, he discovered the world of Developer Relations. Nowadays, Facundo works as a DevRel Engineer at Storyblok, and he spends his time engaging with the dev community, speaking at events and conferences, creating and sharing content, writing articles for different websites and platforms, leading workshops, and talking (of course). He is one of the organizers of React Buenos Aires, the biggest React community in Argentina. He has been selected Prisma Ambassador, Auth0 Ambassador, and Cloudinary Media Developer Expert.

Kathryn Middleton is an Engineering Manager on the React team. Kathryn initially discovered web development when she wanted to make her myspace page look cool. She ended up majoring in Computer Science, and quickly became a huge fan of React building features on the Instagram.com team. Outside of programming she loves playing pingpong, teaching spin classes, and going plant shopping.

Scott is an accessibility specialist at Shopify. He spends his days auditing web properties and native apps, reviewing code, and discussing inclusive design principles with designers, developers, content authors, partners, support, and legal teams. In his spare time Scott runs an online store and writes about web accessibility at ScottVinkle.me. He also enjoys snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. He lives in Ajax ON with his wife and two children.

Lisi a Principal Frontend Architect at Storyblok. Her previous experiences include teaching web developement at an university as well as working on various websites and applications. She loves to be involved in the community, organized a conference and often speak at conferences about the web.
