He is a hacker at heart ever since learning QBASIC in middle school and is passionate about the power that learning to code brings to an individual. He’s worked for 6+ years in the world of low-code tools to empower developers to do more in less time. He’s passionate about visual abstractions and ways of quickly conveying and understanding complexity. Prior to Retool, Chris worked at Tray.io, JunoVR, Segment, and National Instruments.

Misha Kaletsky

Misha Kaletsky is an active open-source contributor, known for projects like expect-type, trpc-cli and eslint-plugin-codegen. Misha has specialized in C#, F# and TypeScript at Microsoft, since building out multiple healthcare startups from scratch, almost exclusively in TypeScript. He has a particular interest in developer productivity and type safety for large-scale applications. Misha lives across the river in Brooklyn with his wife and one-year old son (with a second due a few weeks before JSNation!).

Daphne is a comedian, software engineer, and conference speaker. She is on a mission to bring comedy into tech and has brought to conferences: a "He-Man" sing-along, AI-themed cha-cha slide, and a Pokemon speaker introduction. She's an engineer at Grow Therapy and previously worked at Lyft, Shopify, and Yelp. Based in Seattle, she enjoys improv, sketch writing, and hostel-hopping around the world. Akbar Mirza is a Developer Advocate at Figma, where he helps designers and developers speak the same language and build together more seamlessly. With a background that zigzags through UX, data science, and software engineering, he’s happiest at the crossroads of design and development. Before joining Figma, Akbar built civic tech apps like MigraCam to help people in emergencies, worked on improving design tools at Google, and taught students how to code their first iOS apps. He’s driven by curiosity, community, and the belief that good tools can make creative work feel a little more human.

Marko is a software engineer and data visualization enthusiast specializing in geospatial technologies. Currently a Founding Engineer at Fused, he builds interactive geospatial applications using React and deck.gl. Previously, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Foursquare and a Tech Speaker at Mozilla. As the Director of Armada JS, Serbia’s largest full-stack JavaScript conference, Marko is dedicated to community building and knowledge sharing. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and is pursuing a PhD in data visualization.

After receiving his MSc from Oxford, a short stint in San Francisco, an even shorter in London, he ended up home near Frankfurt. He famously got fired from Twitter in 2022, worked as Staff Engineer for Sizzle.gg afterwards and is now building the editor at Synthesia.
